…that made my weekend great.
Beautiful fresh lavender picked from outside Mum in laws house. The smell is incredible.
Coming home from work on Friday to find this great delivery…
… and then getting started straight away! I’m making the shell stitch cushion cover from the book Cute and Easy crochet by Nikki Trench. Its nearly finished so I’ll share that once its done.
The decopatch paper is for an upcycle project that I’m going to start very soon. I’ve never done any decoupage before so I’m looking forward to it.
Gorgeous flowers picked from our garden. I’m quite proud that we managed to grow these, I absolutely adore flowers (hence my blog name – Blue Moon after the rose) but I can’t seem to grow and maintain them for toffee. Does anyone have any advice?
A cup of tea and a crumpet with marmite (mmmm) on my lovely new tray.
Trying to brighten up a grey day. You honestly wouldn’t think it was summer here at the moment, I even have my favourite slippers on!
I’m still working on my hexie blankie. I have loved making this blanket, the solid hexagons are so simple but I love the look of them. They look a bit like patchwork, what do you think?
So that pretty much sums up what I have been up to this weekend. What have you been doing?
