Crochet Pattern for the Bobble Sleeve Bomber

By Toni Pulford / Jan 2019

Seriously guys, this one is a humdinger.. The first time I wore this cardigan I received so many compliments and people couldn’t believe that I hand made it myself. **Pulls smug face**

Because of all the cold weather we’re having at the moment (and the fact that my husband insists on playing rugby in the winter) I wanted to design myself a superly duperly cosy warm cardigan to wear underneath my jacket (yes, it gets that cold) so like a a jacket under a jacket.. and this is the design I came up with. A cosy body created with the super tight woven stitch and partly oversized bobble sleeves for the fashionista in me!

The stitch I used for the sleeves is the Blackberry Salad stitch (in depth tutorial here) and it is a bit a yarn hog but so totally worth it. I used just under 6 skeins of Paintbox Simply Aran to make my bobble bomber (size S) which means combined with the ad free pattern you could whip yourself one of these up for just under £15-20! Bargain!
